I have been using this method in a round-about way to clean my filing cabinet. I have a suspicion that my filing cabinet is similar to 'the luggage' in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. A sentient, self-mobile inter-dimensional storage chest that will, when opened, display or store items to a different dimension at whim. My filing cabinet to a T, minus the self-mobile part. The 'luggage' will also clean your laundry in a second and has a bad habit of eating people that threaten it or it's owner. I haven't tried this yet with my filing cabinet, but I try to treat it nicely, just in case. Anyway, I have gotten about half-way through organizing the last 6 years or so of paperwork, financial history, etc. Today... the other half! Now which dimension did I store my bank statements in?
